Scot's Mailing list / Mailing Lists / Custom Messages
Use custom message group to personalize the experience of your subscribers. Each mailing list has it's own group of custom messages.
The first thing you will see in the custom message area is a list of system messages. Click on a message to edit it. Note that not all messages are created equal. Some use emails, other use browser windows, while others use both.
preview options
The screen link will preview what will be displayed in the browser window. The email link will preview what the email will look like once it goes out.
edit messages
The edit link will edit the messages in the group. If the custom message is set to system default, you'll have the option of creating new messages based on the default messages.
To create messages from scratch, use the new link.
custom Message List
This is a list of your custom messages, when they were last updated, and the delete link. You can edit the custom message by clicking on it's name.
import or show all messages
This will list all of your custom message groups and give you the option of importing a message group into the current mailing list. You could have a master message template that you use to make a new message group.
