Scot,

I get the following error when trying to delete an email address:

Error: list id missing. Error: mailing list smr_scotmail/mailing_lists/.dbf does not exist.
Error: list id missing. Error: mailing list smr_scotmail/mailing_lists/.dbf does not exist.

When I try to view the email record in question, I get:

Error: list id missing. Error: mailing list smr_scotmail/mailing_lists/.dbf does not exist.
Error: mailing_lists/ mailing list does not exist. Check to make sure the ID of the list is correct.Runtime error in ../scotmail.mvc @ [0000000d:000000d6]: c:MivaMiahtmlscotmail315scotmail.mv: Line 1097: MvFIND: Database 'list' is not open Runtime error in ../scotmail.mvc @ [0000000d:0000012a]: c:MivaMiahtmlscotmail315scotmail.mv: Line 1101: MvDELETE: Database 'list' is not open Runtime error in ../scotmail.mvc @ [0000000d:00000176]: c:MivaMiahtmlscotmail315scotmail.mv: Line 1106: MvCLOSE: Database 'list' is not open Error: list id missing. Please advise on how to correct this.

I think this has been fixed for the next update. Normally when this happens the issue is that you've searched multiple lists. Try searching just one list for the email address and see if it works as expected.

Tried the one list and it still failed. I also tried packing (no joy). Finally, I tried the Fix utility and got line after line of:

Error: mailing_lists/ mailing list does not exist. Check to make sure the ID of the list is correct. Runtime error in list_utilities.mvc @ [00000005:00000342]: Line 451: MvSKIP: Database 'list' is not open

Other email addresses on this list can be viewed and deleted, but not this one: discus25@bigpond.net.au

Ok, the only thing left to do is fix the list using the "ultimate" fix. Take a look at the "news" section from the main admin and down towards the bottom is the ultimate list fix link or directions.

You can also give me your scotmail url and login info so I can take a look- let me know the list you're working with. Use the contact form on the main page to send the info to me.
