For the mailing list, if I leave messages (like "Successful subscription welcome/target messages" and "Already subscribed messages") on, then they show at the very top of the Miva Merchant page after a customer is subscribed to the list. (And it's partially hidden since the site uses CSS.)

However, if I disable them, the form submission (that sits on its own Miva Merchant 5.5 page), when submitted, results in a blank screen.

How can I make the success/failure messages appear when a customer subscribes using the form, but not appear after the submit a checked checkbox during order checkout within Miva Merchant?

PS - I have the checkbox on the OCST page to mimic the previous behavior of the site running Subscribe2 and Miva Merchant 4c.

Hi Susan,

At this time you do this by having one mailing list for your store, and one mailing list for other subscriptions.  Next update will fix this issue, but for now that's the way around it.
