Scot's Banner Control is an easy way to add rotating content to your Merchant 5 store. Rotate through products, categories, and custom content such as banners, affiliate links, draw from web pages, and more.
Scot's Banner Control Features
• random or sequence rotation of custom banners or content

• display a web page from a normal URL in your store
• rotate through products from a category in your store and customize the display

After the module has been installed and you bring it up in your Merchant admin for the first time, you will be asked to create a category. Once you have done that, every time you bring up the module admin screen you'll see a list of the categories you've created.
Each category has template/page code associated with it and this is what you put in a page to display the rotating content from that category in your store.
